Friends at Urban Elks
About a month ago we had a chance to see Octopus Ballet at The Urban Elks in Tacoma. One of the things I (D) love about shows at The Urban Elks is the earlier time. They are normally 4-7pm and it’s still early enough to get home and relax before heading to bed at a reasonable time!

Octopus Ballet is always such a fun show! We love the band in case that wasn’t obvious from the picture above! I (Z) at one point inquired if/how much professional vocal training Leanne had. But it is just her own amazing natural talent and practice that has enhanced her ability. Her voice is enchanting and her band Octopus Ballet is an amazing forum where that talent and her friendship with the band members shines!
Several of our music friends also love Octopus Ballet, and we were able to meet up with Corrine and Jason for drinks, dinner, and dancing as well as the music! We feel so blessed to have made so many different amazing friends through this new outlet of music and dancing. They make great nights even better!
So, for now, cheers to the early evenings and late nights alike with some of our favorite company!
