We are Zeek and Denice; happily married since 1994!

I’m Zeek

Also known as Santa Clause from October through December, although that isn’t my day job! I love my wife Denice, a good bold red wine, and my red Ford F250 pickup. Nothing is more relaxing than a cup of coffee or a glass of wine while bird watching on my patio. But when we go out to our favorite places to dance the night away, I love knowing everyone else there and being the life of the party! Although sometimes it gets a little hard to pull away from my actual day job to get out to go dancing.

I’m Denice

I love dogs and kids and wine and coffee! But the dogs and kids are easier with a lotta coffee before and a little wine after ;) I start my days with yoga and time in my Bible, and I enjoy a little Netflix before bed. I was thrilled to convince Zeek to start dance lessons in 2019 but am more than happy to let him be the center of attention when we go out. Although my crazy boots tend to draw a little attention my way!

We love our life together!

We loved raising our two kids, and as a homeschool family much of our life revolved around raising and teaching them for 20 years. We embraced every moment, even the hard ones, of that stage. But now we are having just as much fun with our adult children!

We love spending time as a couple. We’ve discovered the amazing world of wine tasting and enjoy touring tasting rooms, wineries, and vineyards and look forward to our wine club deliveries. We started going to dance lessons and gained confidence to go dancing at live music venues. This has led to discovering our favorite local artists and hole in the wall pubs that we frequent as regulars!

But we value the quiet moments too. We love a full house with people living their lives alongside us. However, sitting together on Saturday morning in the living room, with a view of the bird feeders on the patio, just chatting and catching up is priceless. Life is busy and fast, and we enjoy packing in lots of life to our days. So those quiet still moments sipping coffee together helps fill our tanks and quiet our minds before we run errands together, go about our day jobs, or bring the party to our favorite pub!
