...that's where we were...

Over the last few weeks there have been quite a few open venues, events, and chances to catch some of our favorites. Indicative of the summer weather slowly but surely making its way to Washington! We didn't get to see all of our favorites, but here's some of the one we did get to.

The Powder Room Champagne Bar in the Stadium District… you can’t go wrong, especially on Thursday for live music!

The Mill Town Stage, at The Mill in Milton. Probably one of the coolest places we go see music. Check that menu out … it's always AMAZING!

A trip to Jazzbones is never the wrong answer! Especially when Too Slim and the Tail Draggers are taking stage.

Nick Cain’s place in Grapeview… seriously, you gotta get out there…

The Winespot in Edgewood… some seriously great music going on here. The shows we’ve caught recently have included the likes of Kurt Lindsay, Ian Jones, and Kage Dallas.

A new find in Tacoma, The Buried Bottle. An eclectic gathering of some of the best wines in the area in a hole in the wall tasting room. Let us know if you’re headed that way… We’d love to meet you there!

And, one of our favorites... EVER! In old town Tacoma, Old Town Wine Skins. Food, Wine, Atmosphere… it's all five star plus here, including the super sweet owners!

And some wine room time with Rudolph… at Palouse on Vashon Island. You know we had to turn our dog into a wine dog, it just seemed right. He’s the perfect fit for this patio lounging location.

On the road… with Rudolph

Old Town Wine Skins (again, can you tell it’s a favorite for us?) with Rudolph. Oh and another note on the food, fantastic gluten free bread options!

Woodinville's Wine Alley. Ancestry Cellars is always a favorite stop. We first discovered Ancestry at a tasting room in Manson. While they don’t do tastings in Manson anymore, the Woodinville location is a great stop for some fantastic wine. (Ask me sometime about their Red Mountain 2018 bottles infused with smoky taste from grapes that survived the wildfire years. Some of the best wine in my opinion!)

And a chance to enjoy Larry Murante along with some wonderful wine pairing. The Ice Cream Flight may have changed my life! Semi Oaked Chardonnay with Green Tea ice cream… just trust me.

At Bayernmoor Cellars. Put this on your list… well worth it!

Finally back home with Rudolph! We were warned he was “high energy”… But we regularly manage to tire him out!

And a serious talk about his behavior…

and once he understood…

A little treat

For Rudolph (and us)…

Well, cheers to just some of what we did in April. May is certain to be a whirlwind! Keep your eyes out, and WE'LL SEE YOU ON THE DANCE FLOOR!
