Sunbanks Bluesfest
May 16 - 19, 2024
We love heading to Eastern Washington several times a year, for various reasons. The longstanding Bluesfest at Sunbanks Resorts being one of our favorite reasons.
Along the way, we enjoying capturing the change of environment, stopping at few favorite places to stretch our legs, and possibly quenching our palet a little bit. All while looking forward to getting out and spinning around the dance floor!
16 AWESOME Bands in 4 days, a beautiful backdrop, and hundreds of the best festival goers ever!
Some we see regularly,
And some that we only see a few times a year… But they all make up the “Sunbanks family”.
And “Barbie” even got her perfect moment… Although she was willing to share the spotlight with her friend Miss America!
The weather was cooperative most of the time. Cold winds plagued the Thursday night audience at the Cantina, a few drizzles chilled the crowd during Saturday, and the morning Temps (with windchill factor) felt like 39 degrees!
Thank you Terri Moss, for capturing this great shot, as the weather became near perfect! Mid 60s, a few clouds, plenty good for dancing… which we did.
While the high energy bands kept the dancing alive, even on stage!
And lets not forget a shout out to Billy Stoops and Leanne Trevalyan for the countless hours getting this all put together, fulfilling EmCee duties, and still being there to say hi and have some fun with all of the music lovers!
And even perform a wedding!
