Chelan Bound
On our way to the next stop! We got home for one full day after Sunbanks It is time for our annual family vacation to Manson, WA on Lake Chelan. We always rent a big air bnb house with room for our parents and kids to stay with us. A must have that we discovered last year, it also has to have a hot tub! The house we rented last year was unavailable, but we’ve found a new location in Manson a little further from the lake that looks perfect. Regardless, we know we are headed there with our favorite people to amazing wines and great food!

On Our Way
Well, after a tour of the house and divvying up the rooms, we seem to have picked a perfect spot! The views are spectacular looking out over the valley, with just a peak of Lake Chelan between the hills. Nothing beats the views of Eastern, WA.
After a seven-hour trip, we weren’t up for much… But, regardless, with this group we always have a phenomenal evening! Wednesday night at 5:30pm there isn’t much still open, but we happened upon Tony’s Pizza, and it did not disappoint. Alfredo chicken pizza, Greek salad, and buffalo wings spicy enough to strip paint… They even had a great local dry cider from Wenatchee to pair with the food! Absolutely hit the spot after a long day.
We spent the evening with our (awake) family members around the patio fireplace. A glass of red wine, a couple blankets, and the bright of a warm fire… Night one of vacation and we are off to a good start! Things are only to get better from here. We can’t wait to share some of our favorite wines and moments from this vacation in the days to come!
