BUCKLEY FIREHOUSE PUB

You might recall a post from last year about the Dirt Angels playing at the Buckley Firehouse Pub.

Well, we were informed by friends of ours (thank you Kim & Brian… no, not the musicians. Some wonderful friends that live in Enumclaw) that Aaron Crawford was going to be playing at The Firehouse. I was able to get out of work a couple hours early, and Denice’s schedule was a little light… so we agreed to head to Buckley.

If you're not familiar with Buckley, it’s the home of the world famous Wally’s Drive In, and The Firehouse Pub… and… well I don't really know what else. But it sits between Bonney Lake and Enumclaw on hiway 410.

Looking on the Google map above, you’ll see it says the Firehouse is busier than normal… and boy was it! They ran out of wine glasses, so we opted to drink our wine in coffee cups. Quite frankly, it was perfect.

Well, Aaron Crawford has opened for some very substantial bands, not the least of which (and a personal favorite) was the new Lynyrd Skynyrd.

To say the least, Aaron's music, stage presence, and ability to work the audience (which was quite substantial) was beyond par.. and worthy of mention.

If you get the chance, catch one of his local shows… where his children (about 3 and 5 ???) dance the night away, his wife runs the merch table, and his father-in-law fills in as roadie… This local boy ( with songs about Buckley -vs- Enumclaw -vs- Bonney Lake) will not disappoint.

So, Check out some local scene, some Washington Wine, and have a great weekend.

WE'LL SEE YA ON THE DANCE FLOOR.
